Hope > Cancer: Sevenly's Breast Cancer Awareness
You may already know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Team Sevenly includes many people who have cheered on loved ones who have fought cancer, and breast cancer in particular. So we are proud, and grateful, to curate a collection of some epic advocacy art this week, anchored by the HOPE > Cancer design.
The feature design was inspired by Sevenly social media volunteer, Alexx Altman, who lost her mom to cancer three years ago. “My mom gave the fight all she had,” Alexx told us. “She inspired so many people with her contagious smile, her joy, her brave determination.”
“Her favorite shirt during that time was Sevenly’s HOPE > Cancer shirt. She gave people who loved her, who were together with her on the journey, a lasting gift of HOPE.”
This week’s campaign honors Alexx and her mom, Lynn McManus, by helping to fund the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s outreach program to provide women who do not have the information that they need about winning the fight against breast cancer. Their brand new eBook What Every Woman Needs to Know is being made available absolutely FREE. We’re proud to help make that happen.
We want to help people like you, and people you love, live a healthy life and be proactive about your health. What Every Woman Needs to Know is packed with vital health information that will empower you (or the women in your life) to be proactive about your breast health.
Breast cancer affects one in eight women in her lifetime, and we believe that this eBook will give women a greater hope for detecting their breast cancer early, and obtaining successful treatment.
We know some of you have already personally experienced a breast cancer diagnosis—would you consider sharing this potentially life-saving eBook and inspirational cause art with other women?
Many thanks, from your friends at Sevenly
