To mark this year's International Day of the Girl, Sevenly is celebrating the work of Girl Up and their SchoolCycle initiative, which is providing bikes to adolescent girls in Guatemala.

Here's why we think it's so important that we created a design to help you tell the story.

An educated girl can change the world. But in many developing countries a prohibitively long – and unsafe – walk to school prevents girls from completing their education. In Guatemala, 6 out of 10 indigenous girls drop out of school by age 15.

That’s why Girl Up is expanding its successful SchoolCycle initiative, and why Sevenly decided to steward a pledge to help them. By simply providing girls in Petén, Guatemala with a bike, they will be able to get to school, see a doctor, and travel throughout their community safely.

With your support, Girl Up will provide bikes directly to adolescent girls through a program in Guatemala run by UNFPA.

Please join with us!  Support by shopping the Humanitarian Collection. Your purchases will help fund Sevenly's existing pledge to Girl Up, and help make the life of a Girl better.
