Just Say Hi, Defining Moments of Impact

Just Say Hi, Defining Moments of Impact

This week, Sevenly’s campaign supports a non-profit with a mission with which people of goodwill passionately align. “The Cerebral Palsy Foundation process is to find, define and address Moments of Impact, [that] if properly implemented, have the power to improve lives.”

Sevenly’s mission is all about creating those moments of impact, opportunities for conversations, that have the power to improve lives. This mission is precisely why the Cerebral Palsy Foundation is the perfect partnership for this week.

CPF doesn’t only support those living with Cerebral Palsy, but they have made it their mission to support the far-reaching community of people who have disabilities. “We then work to better understand what is needed to effect change and the best ways to implement it. We seek out the best thinkers in an area, and form collaborative networks to work together and bring about transformation. Finally, we share our work with others so it will have the greatest possible impact… While our work of course includes important strides being made toward the eventual prevention of cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities, our focus is on the translational research, clinical application and knowledge transfer that can dramatically change lives today.”

In celebration of Cerebral Palsy Day, the CPF is launching their CP Channel App created to inform and empower people with CP, as well as general doctors, caregivers, and families. It builds on CPF’s extensive video library, which covers subjects from understanding brain injury to considerations about surgery. In addition to these powerful and much needed resources, the app also includes videos created by CPF Ambassadors who provide their spin on the life advice so sorely needed in this community.

This week’s Sevenly collection highlights the fact that DISABILITY is NOT a dirty word, and that the impact of "just saying hi" and building bridges and reciprocal learning along side people with disabilities is a much greater opportunity than we often even imagine.

“While we look to the future and the incredible advances that await," CPF CEO Richard Ellenson observed, "let us never lift our gaze so high that it fails to see the enormous impact we can have today.”

So, we invite you to join with us to #JustSayHI and create a defining moment in your life and the life of someone else...TODAY.

And, start the conversation with the clothing and accessories we've created with our friends at Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
