Get Seriously Silly for a Good Cause on Red Nose Day!
Red Nose Day is a day to get seriously silly about helping children living in poverty. It's really caught on, all around the world!
Leading the charge in the U.S. activation for Red Nose Day is Walgreens. Since 2015, they have raised more than $60 million together with the non-profit, Comic Relief, helping kids who need it most. The donations are targeted toward meals to feed, safe places to live, essential medical services, and life-saving vaccines. You can learn more about Comic Relief here. (link to www.comicrelief.org.)
Our friends at GoodXChange helped reach more than 25 million unique people with the message about Red Nose Day, and why it matters. They've launched a fun "Pictition Board" for people to post their picture as a show of support here.
The world needs more creative approaches to rallying people to help others in need. Red Nose Day is a great example. Congrats to Walgreens and Unilever and other program partners for helping to make it happen!
