Let's Escape Reality and Look at Resort 2024, K?
Resort collections during an impending financial world crisis? Actually, yes. Put me down for a teaspoon of escapism. Sweet, sweet, escapism.
Overarching trends were few for Resort 2024, but that doesn’t mean the offering was without its fair share of hits.

Max Mara really delivered in terms of styling. Most of the collection revolved around black, white, and ivory. It's also worth noting that a great many of the looks could be recreated with ordinary wardrobe items and we love a look for less. (Sometimes.)
Among his usual assortment of vintage-inspired red carpet wear, Christian Siriano delivers one of his best LBDs yet. Zara is cutting the knockoff as we speak.
Yet another winner from Siriano is this sage and black ensemble that oozes sensuality. Why is Christian so slept on?
Blumarine continues to feed into the Y2K frenzy with a denim heavy collection complete with obligatory mini bags, bra tops and double tap-worthy accessories. It's exactly what we expect from Blumarine in the best way possible.
Christopher Kane's resort collection has the cool girls in mind. Not a faux fur fan? This ain't for you. Kane applies multicolor swatches of maribou on sheer dresses and jumpsuits, but does so with such finesse that you could totally see these work double duty in the club or during awards season.
One more time for Christopher Kane. This is a DRESS, people.
Moschino leaned heavily into a "In Love We Trust" messaging for Resort '24 with the slogan appearing on everything from simple white tees to sequin gowns. No one does high/low like Moschino and this collection was no exception.
Giambattista Valli gives the ball gowns a rest for resort, opting for party-ready minis like this one. Though it does read a little Saint Laurent at first glance, the collection as a whole is GV to a T. (See the below.)
One of the standouts of the entire season is this two-piece look from Giambattista Valli and in a way it sums up the entire Resort '24 season. Groundbreaking, no. But wearable and shoppable. (Shoppable-ish.)
