Tulie Yaito is Exactly What the World of Women’s Sneakers Needs

If you’re not familiar with Tulie Yaito, let’s start with some backstory.

Tulie is one half of Yaito, a namesake brand she shares with her partner Carlton. Yaito is known for its viral, often sold-out knot bags and Tulie herself is a force in fashion with a taste level and eye for proportions that makes her unlike any other social media star.

When Tulie teased a partnership with adidas, it wasn’t clear if it was on the apparel or footwear side, nor what the extent of the partnership would be. Thankfully, fans didn’t have to wait long to see her first project with Three Stripes and it’s safe to say it did not disappoint.

For what will presumably be her first drop, Tulie puts her spin on the adidas Forum Hi, a silhouette that first hit shelves back in 1984. (Yes, it precedes the Air Jordan 1 and was actually worn by Michael Jordan in the Olympic trials of that year.)

Tulie’s iteration combines a cow print done in pony hair punctuated with hits of vivid red, royal blue, and a perfect kelly green — all colors and prints found within some of Yaito’s most popular knot bag styles.

While we patiently await details on the Tulie Forum Hi, let’s get into some of her most double tap-worthy fits:

This is a lesson in geometry and I am taking notes, mkay.

The boots are booting, sis!

It's three Goyard scarves as a fit. And it's brilliant.

To be this cool...
